eTraining Program

If you are requesting efiling priviledges but are unable to complete the designated training requirements through the online registration process you may complete these steps to obtain your LIVE login.  This will entail a manual process and will delay receipt of a LIVE login for CM/ECF.

Step 1:

Select the Category of Filing that best fits the type of efiling you will be doing in CM/ECF the majority of the time.  The eTraining ELMs are broken out into three distinct areas based on your category of filing selection (see below).

Creditor Creditor Attorney This training program should be completed by attorneys who primarily represent creditors, trustees or other professionals and are seeking full filing access to the Court’s CM/ECF filing system. This category includes attorneys appearing in cases in this district under Local Rules 2090-1(A), attorneys admitted to appear pro hac vice under Local Rule 2090-2(B)(2) and government attorneys appearing under Local Rule 2090-1(B)(3).
Debtor  Debtor Attorney OR Debtor/Creditor Attorney This training program should be completed by attorneys who primarily represent debtors and are seeking full filing access to the Courts’s CM/ECF filing system. This category includes attorneys appearing in cases in this district under Local Rules 2090-1(A), attorneys admitted to appear pro hac vice under Local Rule 2090-2(B)(2) and government attorneys appearing under Local Rule 2090-1(B)(3). If you are an attorney for BOTH a creditor or debtor, you need only complete the DEBTOR ATTORNEY training ELM.
Limited Limited Filer This training program should be completed by attorneys in cases in this district under Local Rules 2090-1(B)(1) and pro se creditors.  Limited filers may only file notices of appearance, requests to receive notice, proof of claim and other claims related documents, including responses, chapter 11 ballots and reaffirmation agreements.

 

Step 2:

Complete the required learning modules for the Category of Filing selected in step 1.  Adobe Flash Player is required to view the modules.

  • Use the Table of Contents to review a lesson or quickly access the Knowledge Check if you are already familiar with the content.
  • Each module must be passed with a score of 80% or higher.
  • You MUST capture the Knowledge Check Results screen (sample below) for each Module to confirm a passing score.

Step 3:

Complete the applicable Registration Form and save it.

 

Step 4:

Submit the signed first page of the Registration Form only along with the passing Knowledge Check Result screens for each module  to: CMECF_Support@flsb.uscourts.gov.  The court will contact you with your CM/ECF  user id and password within 48 hours after receipt of the confirmation email.
