CM/ECF Training
Pursuant to Local Rule 5005-4, an attorney appearing in a case in this district must complete court approved CM/ECF training to become a registered user and begin efiling documents in this court. Our "CM/ECF for Attorneys" training course is a 4-hour hands-on formal training session, which focuses on all aspects of bankruptcy and adversary case filing. This course is offered to all attorneys authorized to practice in this district and has been approved for 5 CLE credits by The Florida Bar, which can be applied to the CLE credit hour requirements set forth in Local Rule 2090-1(A)(3). Attorneys and/or Limited Filers who certify that they are already registered users of CM/ECF in another bankruptcy court are not required to attend classroom training if proficiency on the system is demonstrated through the completion of a “Proof of Proficiency” exercise. To register for our “CM/ECF for Attorneys” training course, or if you are currently filing in another bankruptcy court and wish to gain access to the "LIVE" system by completion of a proficiency exercise, please notify the court's training team at: CMECF_support@flsb.uscourts.gov or contact Pam Shuler, CM/ECF Training Specialist, at (305) 714-1829.
