Registration

Below is an overview of the steps necessary to complete the required training. Once you have reviewed the instructions, [click here] to begin registration.   

 

Step 1:

Fill out the initial registration form and select the Category of Filing. The eTraining ELMs are broken out into three distinct areas based on your category of filing selection (see below). You will choose the category of filing that best fits the type of efiling you will be doing in CM/ECF the majority of the time.

Creditor Creditor Attorney This training program should be completed by attorneys, who primarily represent creditors, or other professionals and are seeking full filing access to the Court’s CM/ECF filing system. This category includes attorneys appearing in cases in this district under Local Rules 2090-1(A), attorneys admitted to appear pro hac vice under Local Rule 2090-2(B)(2) and government attorneys appearing under Local Rule 2090-1(B)(3).
Debtor  Debtor Attorney ORDebtor/Creditor Attorney This training program should be completed by attorneys who primarily represent debtors and are seeking full filing access to the Courts’s CM/ECF filing system. This category includes attorneys appearing in cases in this district under Local Rules 2090-1(A), attorneys admitted to appear pro hac vice under Local Rule 2090-2(B)(2) and government attorneys appearing under Local Rule 2090-1(B)(3). If you are an attorney for BOTH a creditor or debtor, you need only complete the DEBTOR ATTORNEY training ELM.
Limited Limited Filer This training program should be completed by attorneys in cases in this district under Local Rules 2090-1(B)(1) and pro se creditors.  Limited filers may only file notices of appearance, requests to receive notice, proof of claim and other claims related documents, including responses, chapter 11 ballots and reaffirmation agreements.

Step 2:

Complete the required learning modules for the Category of Filing chosen. Each module must be passed with a score of 80% or higher. Adobe Flash Player is required to view the modules.

Step 3:

Once you have successfully completed the eTraining modules, request a LIVE login by finalizing the Registration Form.  If you are unable to submit the Registration Form, do the following:

  • Log back in using Internet Explorer browser (version 8 or 9)
  • From Tools,  select Compatibility View Settings (for versions 10 or higher)> Add our court url extension (uscourts.gov)
